The Selva has two different regions, both high and low. The high Selva consists of the easter foothills
of the Andes mountain range and covered with thick, green forests. The low Selva is just low, flat
plains east of the high Selva. Thick rainforests and jungles cover almost all of it, with the Amazon River
flowing right through it (Leo).
